Dear Parents and Students,
First I want to say happy birthday to Angus
Murray-Nobbs. We wish him endless
happiness and great health! Plus good
scores!!! J
We had lots of fun with dictionary activities this
week. Our problem of the week (P.O.W)
was a problem based on dictionaries.
Students worked very well in their groups and completed the problem
successfully.
Here is the evidence:
Starting from next week I will daily post the homework
assigned that day. This way we can
prevent miscommunication. If there is
any uncertainty, just check out our blog.
I will also weekly post the new spelling words for the following week.
Curriculum planning for Week 5:
Math: We will finish Chapter 3, review it and also
write a test on it. We are also going to
start Chapter 4. Chapter 4 is all about
addition.
English: We will continue with Unit 2 and learn more
about singular and plural possessive nouns.
We will finish and review Unit 2.
Social Studies: We will continue with Chapter 3, finish and
review it.
Science: In week 5 we will look at Science again and
start to look at Chapter 2, which is teaching us about animals. We will work on the classification of
vertebrates and invertebrates.

We also made our own pizzas on Wednesday. I could see lots of talent ready and waiting to
be used in the kitchen. J We, as a

oral presentation assignment.

And this brings us to Student of the week. Our Student of the Week is Michelle Lin. She did a fantastic job in the oral
presentation. Not only that, she is
working very hard in all areas of school – and her hard work is paying
off. Congratulations, Michelle! Great job!
