Some Arrangements

Dear Parents and Students,

I cannot believe the school year is starting to draw to a close.  There are exactly 7 schooldays left!  Third graders, you only have 7 days left in Grade 3!!!  Then it is summer vacation!  And then it is off to FOURTH GRADE!

I have a few arrangements for the schooldays to come.

Monday, June 11th:  Science Test (Chapter 15)
Tuesday, June 12th:  Math Test (Chapters 21 & 22)
Thursday, June 14th:  Oral Presentation (Role Play)

Thursday and Friday, June 14th & 15th:  We will finish off our curriculum.  Books will also be sent home on these days.

Wednesday, June 13th = Picnic Fun
Our Reading Buddies (the Pre-K Students) invited us on a picnic on Wednesday afternoon.  We formed a strong friendship throughout the year with these students.  We want to end the year with them on a high note and want to join them for this picnic fun.  Students, please bring some yummy snacks to school to share with a few friends.

Friday, June 14th = Water Fun:
Our neighbors, the Fourth Graders, invited us for some water games on Friday afternoon.  All students should pack a bag with the following items:  swim suit, sunglasses, caps, beach towels, water bottle, sunscreen, water gun, flip flops or sandals.

Monday, June 18th = Movie and Pizza Fun
I will provide everything for the pizza party.  Students, you may bring a DVD of your choice which is appropriate for third grade students.  We can vote on the most suitable DVD.  I also have some Magic School Bus movies which are fun to watch and very educational.  Students, you may also bring some party snacks to share with your third grade friends during the movie.

Tuesday, June 19th = Game Fun
Students, you may bring a game which you would like to play with your friends.  Again you can bring a yummy snack that will replace your usual snack.  School will end after lunch.  Buses will leave school at 1.00pm.  Non-bus children should also be collected from school at this time.

I am looking forward making some last memories with the Grade 3’s!

Kind Regards,
Ms. Crous
