Dear Parents and
Students,
What a fun week
we had dressing up everyday! Every
morning I waited with excitement and in anticipation to see what the third
graders were wearing. Here is a glimpse
of their creativity for Spirit Week:
The scheduled
Race Day could not take place on Wednesday, March 14th due to the
rain. It is rescheduled for Wednesday,
March 28th. The time stays at
1.00pm – 2.00pm. That is something fun
to look forward to!
Our Music
Scavenger Hunt is going to take place on Wednesday, March 21st. Students, review all those Music terms and
facts! We are going to compete against
Fourth Grade. Let’s show them what we
can do!

In Reading Class
we looked at 4 biographies. We learned
about the lives of 4 people we didn’t know.
For our next Oral Presentation we have to choose a
celebrity/hero/legend and research biographies on their lives. Then everyone has to come to present that
person’s life, with the help of a poster (or a PowerPoint document if you
prefer). The date scheduled for the oral
presentations is Thursday, March 29th.
Upcoming Test Dates:
Social
Studies: Monday, March 26th (Chapters 9
& 10)

Wednesday, March 28th (Chapters 15, 16 & 17)
Homework 3/16:

English: do corrections (IOWA preparation test)

Our Student of
