Talented Third Graders

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome back to a new semester.  I hope you all had an unforgettable Chinese New Year vacation.

It was the third grade class’s turn to decorate the bulletin board for the Word of the month.  Well, the third graders did a great job and the board looks beautiful.  The word for February is Tolerance.  Take a look at our board!

The third graders worked on a writing project, and with Mr. Burt’s help we made the stories into e-books.  I am very proud of each and every one of them!  They had to imagine their life as a milk drop.  Enjoy these stories.

Students, remember about the Music Test on February 13th.  You will get tested on semitones, tones and 2nd intervals.  Study hard!

Students, I also want to remind you that you have to do review of all subjects regularly.  We have to prepare ourselves for the next grade.  We will work at a little faster pace from this semester.  To make sure you don’t fall behind, do your homework properly and review regularly.

Clubs are starting on February 6th.

Our Student of the Week is Ashley Han.  Although she is our little Miss Chatterbox, she is working hard on focusing on her work and she is certainly improving.  Congratulations, Ashley!  You are a star!!!

Have a great weekend, everyone.
Take care!
