Letter

Dear Parents and Students,

Some arrangements for the last week before the Christmas break:

Thursday, December 15th, is the day of our Christmas Evening celebration.  We will start at 6.30pm.  We ask that all students arrive at school at 6.00pm and report to the classroom.  The program will take approximately 45 minutes.  Afterwards we will have a social time with refreshments, enjoying the festive spirit.  To help make this event as festive as possible we would like parents to have the opportunity to contribute to the party.  So please feel free to bring whatever you wish to share.  We will greatly appreciate it.  (Students, remember that we will have dress rehearsal on Wednesday, December 14th.  Make sure you bring your black clothes to school on Wednesday, December 14th.)

Friday, December 16th, will be our last day before the break.  We will have a class party/gift exchange to celebrate Christmas.  Students, please bring your favorite snack to school to share with your friends.  I will take care of drinks.  Also, please let me know who of you have a Christmas movie for us to watch together.  Parents, for the gift exchange, could you please send a nicely wrapped gift (valued around 250NT). It might be best if your child doesn’t know what is in the box/bag, so there are no surprises given away. You can even put something small in a bigger box so they can not easily recognize what is inside the package. (This will add to the fun!)  Girls will exchange with girls and boys with boys.  We will play a game to help exchange the gifts.  School will end at 1.00pm on Friday, December 16th

Since this will be my second last official letter before our winter vacation I would like to wish everyone a “Merry Christmas” and “Best wishes for the New Year”!  Have a great time during the vacation.  Thank you for all you have done.  It is a great pleasure to work with a team like you!

Merry Christmas!

Kind Regards,
Ms. Crous
